Un detenido escapa de los calabozos de la Policía Local de Lebrija. El escurridizo recluso, que salió de las dependencias del Ayuntamiento por una puerta anexa a la principal, fue arrestado poco tiempo después y a casi un kilómetro de distancia.
El preso, natural de Las Cabezas de San Juan y que se encontraba detenido por atentar contra la autoridad, “no paró de golpear la puerta de la celda desde su ingreso en el calabozo y hasta que, en la mañana del domingo -después de pasar toda la noche- consiguió romperla logrando escapar“, según ha relatado el Jefe de la Policía, Antonio Herrera.
Según la misma fuente, el arrestado, “que no durmió en toda la noche“, tenía problemas psicológicos.
Los hechos se produjeron en torno a las 11.45 horas de la mañana del domingo. Uno de los agentes, el único que se encontraba en las dependencias, dejó de escuchar el ruido que provocaban los golpes del reo. Acto seguido el mismo efectivo escuchó pasos en el pasillo de los calabozos y el sonido de una puerta al cerrar. Tras ésto, el policía comprobó que la puerta del calabozo estaba abierta y vio al preso huir.
Al dar la alerta, una patrulla comenzó a buscar al reo por una zona conocida como Santa Brígida, a casi un kilómetro del Ayuntamiento. Tiempo después, los agentes interceptaron al esquivo reo en las proximidades del IES El Fontanal y lo volvieron a llevar al mismo calabozo del que escapó.
El delegado de Seguridad Ciudadana ha indicado que se reforzará la puerta “con una chapa de hierro” y ha asegurado que es un “suceso aislado”. “Normalmente esto no pasa”, ha confesado y ha recomendado a los agentes que “ante una situación similar, se solicite a los servicios médicos para que calmen al preso y no se llegue a esta situación”.
