Un programador de computadoras de 26 años fue detenido en Ucrania, acusado de comerse viva a su abuela de 60 años, informó el diario The Sun. El macabro hecho ocurrió en Simferopol, en el sur de la península de Crimea, donde Sergei Zhmaryov es considerado por los vecinos como un fanático religioso. Las autoridades sospechan que el acusado usó un trozo de espejo roto para cortar en pedazos a la anciana, a la que también hirió en el rostro, en un asesinato ritual bajo los efectos de la marihuana.
Según una fuente policial, “todo ese tiempo ella estaba consciente y tratando de escapar, gritando. Para detener los gritos de ayuda, el nieto entonces supuestamente cortó la lengua y se la comió también”. La anciana, quien crió a Zhmaryov desde niño después que sus padres se separaron, falleció a causa de las heridas que recibió.
Para someter al asesino, la policía de Simferopol tuvo que echar una bomba de gas en el piso de la vivienda. El acusado vestía solo calzoncillo, tenía una cruz en sus manos y estaba orando al momento de ser capturado.
“Sólo podemos confirmar que un hombre de 26 años fue arrestado bajo sospecha de asesinato”. Puedo añadir que este asesinato fue cometido con especial crueldad. No podemos revelar más detalles por los intereses de la investigación”, dijo la jefe de la policía local, Olga Kondrashova.
