Una mujer australiana afirmó que incendió los genitales de su marido porque sospechaba que le estaba engañando y quería “purificar su pene“, aunque la mutilación luego le costó la vida al esposo, informó la radio ABC.
No obstante, Rajini Narayan, de 46 años, se declaró inocente de los cargos de asesinato y haber prendido fuego a una casa valorada en un millón de dólares locales (980.000 dólares estadounidenses).
Su marido, Satish Narayan, perdió la vida semanas después en el hospital por las graves quemaduras que le infligió Rajini, quien le echó licor a la zona de los genitales antes de lanzarle una cerilla.
“Él era mi héroe, el hombre de mi vida, el amor de vida (…) Iba a purificarle el pene, dejarle una marca que siempre se quedara conmigo, para que siempre fuera mío”, declaró ante un tribunal de Adelaida la mujer, madre de tres hijos.
Previamente, Rajini Narayan había declarado: “Soy una mujer muy celosa, su pene me pertenece. Sólo quise quemarle el pene para que fuera mío y de nadie más.” El juicio está visto para sentencia.
